The staff are absolutely spot on. I have stayed here a few times now whilst on work trips and would definitely go back. Great thanks to Charlie, Zack and Corey for keeping the drinks flowing at the bar. These guys need a pay rise for the work they do. Couldn't ask for better bar staff and waiters. Everyone seems to work really hard and put in more than should be expected. The food is good, but it does seem to depend on who is cooking it. Some nights seemed better than overs. The rooms are average. Could probably do with some improvements but if all you need is a clean and comfy bed then it's spot on. I will probably be back again. The breakfast buffet is good. The quality of the sausages and bacon are top. I look forward to my next visit.

The location was perfect for what we needed. My husband was close for his meeting and it was close enough to the shopping centre. All the staff we dealt with where lovely no issues. The main let down was, I fell in the shower, it was a walk in shower with tiles and it all got slippy and no rubber mat to prevent slips. The room was small and quite claustrophobic. But it was generally clean enough. It was very hot at night, the full building was. Food was quite decent. Nothing fantastic but no complaints. It was relatively cheap to stay here so you get what you pay for. It does for a work stay but I wouldn't go with my husband again as room too small and no bath.

Had a Christmas meal here with the hardy group. Excellent location although parking was limited on the day I attended. Staff friendly and food good. Served and presented well. Piping hot. Would recommend.

Good and cheap place where to stay. I found this hotel on Airbnb in early October 2019 and stayed for almost one month. The room is large, comfortable, well-lit, has a sink, a cupboard, drawers and a bedside table. The kitchen is also comfortable and well-lit. The hotel personnel is helpful and kind. It is also well located.

Attended the new year Ball and stayed over. Rooms are small but good for 1 night although extremely hot. The dinner was OK nothing special, the lamb had a dollop of something thick tasteless and white, we couldn't tell what it was. The band were not that good, couldn't hear the vocals. Coffee came out half hour after the tea and was awful. Tables were cleared whilst we were dancing so the drinks we had just bought were taken, not impressed as the staff just wanted to get rid of us, we could have understood if it was the end, but the music was still playing

We enjoyed a fabulous evening on there party night Also stayed over the rooms are clean and warm tea coffee and biscuits Excellent I would use this hotel on every trip I make to Derby if it was nearer to the town But will be booking again when going to there own events
